Fibroblast numbers were significantly higher at day 14 in paroxetine-treated healthy rats than saline controls (p = 0.04) and complete epithelialisation was seen at day 14 in that group, but no differences were seen in diabetic rats or in leukocyte, mononuclear cell and blood vessel counts.
