Mupirocin significantly reduced photon flux from day 4 and wound area at days 6 and 8 with improved re-epithelialisation, and daptomycin reduced bacterial burden and total flux (p<0.01) with 100% survival and clearance of bacteraemia (log-rank p<0.001).
